Can we just take a second to marvel at how awesome this is? Unfortunately Opportunity’s twin, Spirit, was declared dead last year, but both rovers were only supposed to last 90 days. That’s some amazing shit right there.

I hope whoever is responsible for designing these babies made some kind of bet like, “Okay, for every day past 90 these things keep going, you have to give me $5.” They’d have like $16,000 right now.
